BEYOND and the Community
Part of our vision for the BEYOND center is to present science to the public as a key component of our culture and of significance to all humanity.
We are here to communicate the excitement and challenge of scientific endeavor related to the big questions. This is conducted through public lectures, podcasts, newspaper, magazine articles, and other special events.
You don’t have to be a distinguished scientist to get involved with BEYOND – although we welcome those, too. There are many ways that you can help. You can volunteer your time during our workshops, lend us your space, or becoming a sponsor.
A list of our sponsors can be found below. We would love your help confronting the big questions!

Get Involved
If you share our vision of BEYOND, and would like to become involved in this unique intellectual adventure, there are several ways you can help...
Volunteer your time: We can always use helping hands, especially during workshops and public events.
Sponsor a workshop: We encourage partnerships between BEYOND and other organizations or individuals interested in tackling the big questions.
Sponsor a student or postdoctoral researcher: Fundamental research at the cutting edge depends on bright young scientists. A modest scholarship or fellowship can make a world of difference.
Lend us your space: Public events that are really effective can be costly. We can do more for less if you can provide a lecture or events venue free of charge.
Collaborate on research: We are actively seeking individuals, commercial companies and philanthropic organizations who would like to partner specific research projects.
Sponsor a program: Our goal is to grow BEYOND’s range of activities and widen the scope of our research program in partnership with a visionary benefactor.
If you would like to pursue any of the above options, you are cordially invited to contact the BEYOND Center directly at 480.965.3240 or by e–mail deepthought@asu.edu for more information.
