Join us for a monthly webinar series, ASK A PHYSICIST, with renowned physicists Paul Davies, Sara Walker and Maulik Parikh from the Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science at Arizona State University. Each webinar will address a big question in physics and the audience can submit questions ahead of time or during the webinar to add to the discussion! This month, Paul Davies and Sara Walker will be joined by guest presenter Damien Easson, a theoretical physicist and professor at ASU.

January's webinar: Wormholes in space: are they real and how can we find them?

Wormholes are hypothetical shortcuts in spacetime and the subject of much discussion in both science and science fiction. But do they really exist? If so, how would we spot them and what would they mean for space travel and – perhaps – time travel?

This webinar is free and open to the public, however space is limited and registration is required.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Please submit your questions for discussion to deepthought@asu.edu with the subject ‘ASK A PHYSICIST Question: Wormholes in space: are they real and how can we find them?’.

Questions can also be submitted during the webinar through the zoom Q&A!
